Product Review: Meow Meow Tweet's Tea Tree Charcoal Facial Soap

Today I watched 6 hour-long TV episodes (god bless high speed internet) and I ate half a dozen paczkis. So we are rolling in at 6pm and I have an urge to do something productive, but I can't seem to focus on any science-inspired articles. So instead, I will write from the heart. PRODUCT REVIEW TIME BABY!

Okay, for starters, Meow Meow Tweet is the best.

All of their products are natural, zero-waste, and aesthetically pleasing. Check out their site here:

The Tea Tree Charcoal Facial Soap is 12 dollars. The packaging is plastic-free with cute penguins hanging out inside an igloo, so that was already a win for me.

The soap smells amazinggggg (like tea tree and charcoal basically) and it lathers on well.

The ingredients are all natural: aqua (water), *olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, *+cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, *+theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, *helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, ∞sodium hydroxide, *avena sativa (oats), *ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, charcoal powder (from wood), *melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil, *eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus) leaf oil

I recommend having a soap dish ready to host your new bar. I reused the packaging for a while but after a few uses it just wasn't the best system. So then I kept it in the cabinet where it met its early death by falling into the toilet.

This soap can be used as a body or face wash. Tea tree and coconut oil are known to help acne scarring and prevent breakouts. This bar is a great choice for sensitive skin but also for those who prefer natural skin treatments. It feels cleansing and refreshing and if mine hadn't fallen in the toilet I would definitely still be using it.

You can purchase it here through Meow Meow Tweet:

Or at package free shop:

They also sell a Pink Rose Clay Facial Bar!

Happy Cleansing!
